With Turkey's geostrategic location, production capability, young and dynamic population and advanced logistics infrastructure, it has become a regional powerhouse where the production activities of multinational companies are supported by R&D centres, design teams, purchasing offices, logistics bases and regional management centres. In this direction, as MÜSİAD INVEST, we continue our activities without interruption to contribute to this climate of Turkey.’

Speaking about the activities and working areas of MÜSİAD INVEST, Kısakürek continued his words as follows:

‘So far, we have categorised all our member companies and distributed them according to the sectors and volumes demanded by investors. We have put forward MÜSİAD INVEST's focal point and strategic activity plan. We have worked in-depth on this. At this point, we started our activities by forming our executive board. We have created our website to establish a sustainable structure in line with our goals. We have developed solutions to ensure fast matching with the Apply to Become an Investor and Apply for Your Investment Search system on our website.

In line with our objectives, we started to organise regional investment meetings and organised the first one in the MENA region. We have established and continue to establish international collaborations to increase our investor potential. We made great strides by participating in COP'28. We were the only observer NGO participating in the General Assembly of IRENA. Today, we are hosting investors from the Turkic Republics in our second regional investment meeting. As the main goal in these regional meetings, we adopt the principle of less protocol-oriented business.

Within the scope of these meetings, we aim to bring together our investment-seeking and investor companies according to their sectors.’

Organisation of Turkic States continues to play an active role

Furkan Karakaya, Vice President of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, gave information about the establishment and process of the Organisation of Turkic States in his speech. Karakaya said in his speech:

‘Turkey has always attached importance to cooperation with friendly and brotherly countries that speak a common language and have the same origin. Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has always sensitively represented this importance that our country has forgiven. In this direction, with the Nakhchivan Agreement signed on 3 October 2009 with the initiatives of our President, the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking Countries was established with its headquarters in Istanbul. As you know, this development subsequently evolved into the Organisation of Turkic States. In a short time, the organisation has completed its institutionalisation and the commissions established within it have become active. As a result of these efforts, summits have been organised every year in different countries of the Turkic world with different themes. In addition to social and cultural ties, the issue of strengthening economic ties, improving the investment environment and increasing cooperation between member countries was also addressed as a separate item and continued to play an active role. In this direction, as the Organisation of Turkic States and the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, we would like to share the good news that the Turkic World Business and Investment Forum is planned and preparatory work is being carried out in the coming months. We will continue to continue our work under the leadership of our President and within the framework of the vision of the Turkish Century put forward by him.’
